This is what happened immediately after engaging a quest target ship. I fired one volley at the sea viper, she gave chase, then froze, I fired one more volley, then tried to make for the nearest island, and sailed right through it. then the server crashed

Clearing the cache helps with hunting land-based enemies, but the hostile ships are still causing the game to freeze. I also play World of Warships on maximum settings with no problems, so I know it's not any kind of performance issue. Would it help to uninstall/reinstall the whole game?

Anyone else needing to reboot the game due to some freezing issue? It's taking ages to accomplish simple quest tasks because the game keeps locking up. Kill 6 Giant Scorpions, I kill 1, game freezes. Reboot. Character screen doesn't load. Reboot. Start over at Tortuga entrance, enter the...
