Aye, that would be something. The question asks, however, if we can take a POTCO feature and experience it in real life, and vice versa.

In real life, it would be nice to be slashed at, shot at, and thrown grenades at without getting a scratch. As for the game, it'd be nice to add an airplane engine to the ships, increasing the speed of the ship.

Back when the game first came out, I was watching a video of the Pirates crew working on the Kraken story line. I tried Pirates of the Burning sea back when it was on trial. I really enjoyed it! It showed more of the life of a pirate than PotCO does in my opinion. Thanks for sharing those photos too; it always nice to see another gaming world. Perhaps I'll pick it up once more soon. Perhaps...

That might actually get me to play again. I found no purpose in reaching the max level, because there is absolutely nothing to do once you reach the max level. But still, before POTCO was changed, I saw more reason to level up as it was different.

You're right. I look at the old POTCO as a completely different game than today's updated and trimmed version. It would be nice if they would one day change it back to the old look at least. If they had made dramatic changes once, they can do it again. Hm... perhaps another goal for Spania? :arrrrr:

I agree. It still wonder to this day what happened in "that staff meeting" where one of the guys said, "Hey guys, I have an idea - lets revamp the entire game. When the players log back in, they'll think they logged in to the wrong game!" The old pirates look in my opinion was classic. I still...
