Just got back into this game after about 10 months and noticed there hasn't been any invasions recently. Have invasions been discontinued, under work, or only happen rarely now?

Hey, does anyone know when the game Legend of the Pirates Online will be coming out? Dying to play the game but the "reserved play" is always full :(
