Suggestion Advance The Game

I recently found tlopo after looking up my old favorite game from when I was younger. I can remember almost everything that I have been doing in the game so far. Right now the game is so so similar to the old game. You have the rights to it so why not move in your own direction? Take the suggestions from many of the other pirates and move the game forward instead of keeping it here. Gain the interest of hundreds of thousands worldwide, you have brought back the old game and I am so thankful for that; but now show us a new game. With better graphics, more variety of quests, another main story quest, more ships, more gear, more islands, more guild activities (guild war, guild islands, guild ship, etc). Right now I look at this game and it SCREAMS potential at me. Yells it in my face. I wish the developers would grab this potential and put MMO in front of their RPG game.
 
I'm happy to say the devs have been adding new content to the game and you will find on the forums that they are hoping to expand and better it from the original. But these things take time and the TLOPO team do all of this with their own money and spare time.
They also listen to suggestions from the community and have also added some into the game.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for tlopo, put a post with as much detail as possible in the "suggestions" thread.

As far as I know there are 2 teams. 1 work on bugs and issues and the other on developing the game further.
So adding new content does not affect fixing bugs. I'm sure they are working hard on fixing issues but it's not as easy as it may sound to us. First they need to find what is causing a certain bug and then try to fix it without creating a new bug elsewhere.

From what I understand, the devs are doing what they can with their limited resources and numbers.
Apparently there are very few devs, working in their spare time to make the game a reality.
As such, the progress is quite slow, but not bad or hateful by any means.
Apparently more devs can't be added due to trust issues, based on what I've read here in the forums.
So, given their lack of time and resources, they're actually doing OK in reality.
Now I do agree with your comments that the game is huge with potential, but alas, for the reasons mentioned, this is how it is, for better or worse.
 
I agree with all the comments especially the limited resource factor. We should host a fundraiser to raise money for the devs so that they can make more progress.
 
Please keep in mind TLOPO is developed by a small team of volunteers in their spare time, and the game is still Disney's IP so they are unable to take any money (donations or otherwise).
