Quests Almost level 31 still no Staff Quest

I hit level 30 yesterday and was confused for i did not receive the staff quest in my journal. I am now more than half way through level 30 and still have not gotten the quest. I have gone to Tia Dalma and nothing happens. I would rather not have to start a new pirate if possible.

I have the same glitch. I just turned 30 and no staff quest. Me so sad!

Just restart the game, same thing happened to me with grenades.

Maybe try leveling another weapon or something to see if that "triggers" it?

You just have to wait, I didn't receive my staff quest until I was level 31 and a half. Patience is key, except that is not supposed to happen ...
