The following statement has been composed regarding recent events pertaining to one of the Pirates Online Rewritten fan-forums:

On Tuesday, July 29, 2014, an unauthorized user breached the security on "forums-piratesonlinerewritten.com" and defaced the website. Immediately, panic had set in - the community wanted to have reasoning as to why someone would deface the website, and to know who the perpetrator was.

Samuel Cannonskull immediately pointed fingers at a another remake developer named "Tomislav" (aka "Mist"). He blamed Tomislav after recalling an email he sent to him in the past which contained ALL log-in information to the website's admin control panel. Joshua Kenway made a statement discussing what he believed had happened based on the facts that he had at that time. The blame was placed on Tomislav.

Soon after, we started to notice on the other website named "pirates-online-rewritten-forums.com" that multiple users were claiming the perpetrator was actually a user named "Jack Longo" (other aliases include "Alex Falcone" and "Elemental Illusion"). Upon learning of this person, we investigated further. Not too long after, "Jack Longo" contacted a another remake developer and multiple users on the forums claiming responsibility. We continued to investigate and believe that the perpetrator was in fact "Jack Longo," and that Tomislav is innocent. Unfortunately due to various posts that were made, the public was in an outrage and causing grief to Tomislav.

Tomislav (aka "Mist") did not hack Samuel's website, he is innocent.
