I think that instead of giving more inventory space, they should add like a bank where you can leave your items then go back to looting some more, that way your inventory doesn't get crowded.
I played some games with this kind of gameplay and it's right. We should have a bank. Or some kind of depository. Maybe a buried chest mechanic to store some of our stuff we have no need right now.
