Glitch Broadsides behaving weirdly

People have brought this up in other places, but I'm thinking this should be in the Bugs/Glitches section. Broadsides do not track accurately or consistently. It seems like ships that are in range but further away are tracked fine by your broadsides, but it gets finicky at closer ranges.

At this point I'd rather have a dumbfire mechanic like in Assassin's Creed Black Flag (which I'd say is also arguably more realistic, more fun, and takes more skill).

Here's some screenshots of a recent sea battle I had:

Shots fall behind target, even though its not aggroed and relatively far:

Shots somehow miss an entire cluster of ships:

Harder to see in this one, but the shots missed the Bulwark on the left in the last picture by straying too far to the left.

Honestly, this should have been a point blank shot, but it fell to the right of a galleon. Like seriously... a galleon?

Yeah, broadsides are pretty dumb at the moment, haha. I can't tell you how many times my broadsides fire PARRALLEL (90 degrees the opposite direction) to my ship! It's annoying, but funny to look at too.
