Quests Can't Acquire Leadership Skill

So I completed the Black Pearl quest line and then beat the boss battle. Upon completion I went to Joshamee Gibbs but I had no talk prompt. In fact, the entire quest has disappeared and I don't have the leadership skill. I have an extra skill point, but when I click where the leadership skill should be, it doesn't do anything.

After the boss battle, you should be directed to John Smith and then Jack Sparrow, not Gibbs. Try doing that and see what the result is

same thing happened to me ,I completed Black Pearl quest, Took the Black Pearl and quest sheet went blank, went to John smith and nothing...so unable to get leadership.

Same thing happened to me. The quest was gone even before the Boss Battle. I get no prompt to go anywhere.
