My sails got damaged only I went to try to repair and it wouldn't let me, I've noticed you have to have a damaged hull in order to repair

Yes, this was how it was in POTCO too. If only sails are damaged, you can either go out and provoke a Bulwark into shooting your hull, or you can roll up those nice pirate sleeves and fix it yourself! The shipwright will not fix the sails for you if that's all the damage you have.

No it's not the first time I encountered it, it's kind of rare for me to get the sails damaged but not the hull plus knowing how disney didn't fix the small glitches I think they most of thought no one would encounter it

It Is a Seldom Encountered glitch , I may have had it 20 times In all the years on Potco , Not a big deal considering the Bugs at hand !!

The glitch that was In Potco was over Implemented In a TLOPO Update that the ships shoot from the Front even if a Sloop or Galleon and they tend to shoot Chain Shot alot causing Only Sail damage at times . I had several Reveant and Harbs last night using Chain shoty out the Front at Longer then Normal distances . If they hit the Hull they do None or very little damage and If sails get hit Only It causes that lil glitch .
