Constant Rebooting

Anyone else needing to reboot the game due to some freezing issue? It's taking ages to accomplish simple quest tasks because the game keeps locking up. Kill 6 Giant Scorpions, I kill 1, game freezes. Reboot. Character screen doesn't load. Reboot. Start over at Tortuga entrance, enter the Wildlands, freezes in loading screen. Reboot. Tortuga, Wildlands, slash at scorpion until ready for final blow, invulnerable enemy. Reboot. Again and again. Another mission: Sink EITC Sea Viper, rescue NPC. No enemy ships spawn. Or if they do, they're all invulnerable.

Anyone have any suggestions on the topic? Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this?

[FIXED] Turns out my Wifi Adapter was in the process of actively dying whenever I began playing TLoPO. Odd coincidence, but after replacing the adapter, Pirates Online runs smoothly with no issue. Thanks for your help guys, I'll keep an eye on the cache too to keep the game all shipshape!

I've been experiencing some freezes for several seconds at a clip, but not so severe that I need to reboot the game.
I've also been having these "shadows" that run across the screen for a split second, and which I cannot explain.

Resetting my router fixed the freezing problem for me. The only time it doesn't fix it is because the server I'm on is on the verge of resetting (which is obviously a problem on the tlopo side)
 
I leveled 60 k xp on a pirate last night , did 5 Invasions but the 6th froze on me before I was kicked , Too long of a period and too many server hops ! The more you TP / enter / exit a area will effect this . When doing multiple quests and turn ins ! Loads up the the memory fast ! I clear my cache during play to ensure longevity !

Clearing the cache helps with hunting land-based enemies, but the hostile ships are still causing the game to freeze. I also play World of Warships on maximum settings with no problems, so I know it's not any kind of performance issue. Would it help to uninstall/reinstall the whole game?
 
This is what happened immediately after engaging a quest target ship. I fired one volley at the sea viper, she gave chase, then froze, I fired one more volley, then tried to make for the nearest island, and sailed right through it. then the server crashed

Since the last update I have froze twice while out on a ship and I cannot remember it happening to me before. When the new launcher came out I uninstalled the game and reinstalled the whole thing so I don't think that is the answer. Thunderstorms, I do think part of it is memory issues with the disconnects/freezes/crashes.
