Suggestion Cosmetic Surgeon/Doctor

So a lot of other MMO's have an option to anatomically alter your character post-creation, sometimes with constraints. POTCO/TLOPO has barbers for your haircuts, so why not also add a doctor/surgeon who can alter the basic physicality of your character for some gold? (and I mean like 1000 gold, not 100000 gold.) I know I've made some decisions during character creation on my main I don't particularly approve of (especially since the camera function/angle during character creation is much more limited than the gameplay afterwards.) This 'doctor' could edit everything involving the character's facial features (nose,ears, eyes, etc.) and I'd love to see skin tone/ body type options included as well.

It'd be great for fixing up mistakes from during pirate creation or simply to change a character up a bit without starting all over again.
 
I'm thinking about this a lot. I messed up on my character, but its too late to delete him and start over. Overall this would be very useful. Also talking about surgery and barbers reminds me of this...

 
Since this was the 18th century and there weren't really any facial surgeons yet, there could be a small chance that your face could become messed up and you would have to pay again to get it fixed lol

That'd be a really cool idea too, to use magic to alter your base appearance!

I'd really just like anything as an option to physically alter characters facial features (and body type/skin color).

My character looks like the default one. Its too generic. I would like this, because in the old game i never liked my character either.
 
Definitely agree! They could use an alternative to Gold, too. Maybe by placing Witch Doctors/Priestesses around unusual spots in the Caribbean who demand even more unusual objects in return for your precious magical makeover.

Here are a few ideas I have:
  • Demanding certain ingredients/animal parts for their rituals
  • Asking for an unusual object through a riddle which the pirate must solve
  • Hard quests for one-time 'permanent' surgery ability at the Witch Doctors location
  • A payment in blood (Timed curse visible to other pirates - eg: decreased loot or exp, weaker Voodoo skills)
Quest Ideas:
  • Resurrect a dead lover
  • Assassinate a Lord (perhaps for new rules against Voodoo wielding pirates)
  • Find them a pet (Jack the Monkey, Ravens, etc.)
  • Save undead souls
  • Capture zombiefied individuals

Only as long as gold on the spot was an option too. I'd rather not have to play and grind additional mini-games just to edit my guy's nose angle. But having a couple of opportunities to earn free pirate appearance editing sessions would be kind of neat I suppose.
