Crashes without explanation on startup

Whenever I start the game from the launcher, when it reaches the point where it opens the cmd window, the window disappears. There is no error message or anything letting me know the game has failed to startup. It started happening on the 25th of December. I tried redownloading the game but still the same problem occurs. Any help is appreciated!
