Crashing when porting after collecting 16 Loot Skull Chests

Tonight, we were on a loot run that lasted well over 2 hours and we collected 16 Look Skulls, along with a lot of loot prior to getting those Loot Skulls. Then, when we went to port, we were all disconnected to “prevent a district reset”...

All I have to say is, WHAT THE HECK TLOPO...........














PS: We demand compensation.






EDIT: No need to get peeved about this, I don't really care lol. Just thought id share, give y'all a laugh at my misery. XD

LOL stop being so entitled, everyone has to deal with this, you guys are no exception.

edit: also, everyone was informed that there would be a stress test. Perhaps you should use your best judgement next time.
 
You are not going to be given compensation. This is a game in beta, and as such, things like this are to be expected, and is an essential part of the testing phase of any game. You knew what you signed up for when you made an account for a game in beta. You can't demand compensation for something out of the team's control. District resets occur to prevent catastrophic failures, that could in turn create even more problems, some which may require a server rollback, which means that you'll lose even more than what was in those skull chests.

Did you happen to do this entire run during the stress test, where between padres and the other island has like over 50 hunters and big ships constantly circled by dozens of every player ship imaginable? I dc'd 5 times in under an hour ended by the admin re-set of abassa.
1. How did you NOT dc?

2. IF you were out during the stress test 'looting', or as I was doing Turkey shooting, why would you think you should be compensated when everyone else was frenzy feeding? I'm glad I had the chance to load up so fast. I always slow to a slide show as soon as 3 players or more show up in my vicinity and the sailing during that period of stress test was a one frame every 5 second slide show with tremendous lag. After the 5th d.c I parked at port edge of padres and just broadsided every time (20-30 seconde) my cannons reset. If I hit something-great. Actual sailing was impossible.

3. It's beta, re-sets are absolutely part of the game. It's free. A paid game and normal run you may have a slim chance at having a case.

As you can see, unfortunately for your loss, there is no recourse on this one. I feel for you though, as this is a common event for me.
But there is no justification for compensation.

So I guess putting J/K right after the sentence at the time of posting wouldn't have been as much fun as reading peoples reactions and wasting time responding needlessly.
