Cursed Weapons Question

Due to the white screen crash issue that effects many players when they enter caverns or in the case of Ravens Cove the mine pretty much making this quest unplayable for them. There should be some alternative way for those players to be able to unlock cursed weapons an alternate quest line that doesn't involve caverns or mines.
