Difficult Day :(

I thought I could take my sorrows to this lovely community. Today we had to put down our dog who we've had for nearly fifteen years. Words cannot express the grief I am feeling; I've had her since the third grade. I will miss her.

Aww Ivy I'm so sorry. I know what you are going through as I have lost beloved pets before and they are like children - innocent and dependent who love us unconditionally.

My condolences, Ivy. I know exactly what you are experiencing right now. I've lost two pets in my lifetime - our current golden retriever is about to turn 2 in a few days, so I know eventually that tally will unfortunately become a three.
