Glitch Disappearing Chest/ Lost Weapon Glitch

On May 20th I was lucky enough to find Beckett's Pistol. Unfortunately the game had other plans. I of course had to remove a weapon from my inventory to make space so I opened my seachest and during my 30 or so seconds of deliberation the loot container disappeared and my pistol along with it. Keep in mind I didn't exit out the skull chest.

Here's the few screenshots I took when I found it:

And here's the screenshot I took as soon as it disappeared, as I was deleting that item to create space:

I've contacted TLOPO support @ [email protected] and still haven't received a response. It's close to 2 weeks now. I'm hoping the team can help me recover the weapon as I'm sure many can agree these don't come around every day and can get this issue resolved as normally chests don't disappear this quickly, especially if you have it open. I'd like to see them add a feature where chests don't disappear if someone still has it opened.

Only 1 person in the game has seen a redeem code for legendary... among the MANY people who also have had the same issue with solid proof. - However, one person got lucky with his video evidence like the others, but his post obtain very "popular" media attention due to his reaction.

I extremely doubt you will get a response... and if you do. - You'll be disappointed. :mad:

That's actually not true. There's easily over 4 people in my guild alone that have gotten legendaries back this way, and there are others on the forums who have gotten the same treatment. It's really not uncommon

It would seem as long as you have decent evidence you'll be fine
