Donald Trump

I'm just as curious as you are on how that dude is doing so well. The only thing I admire about him is his boldness.Hes a flip flop in my opinion. If he was in office I wouldn't know who our leader is.I'm for Either Bwn Carson,Ted Cruz,or Ran Paul.

Living in an ultra conservative part of Florida, I've talked with those of voting and non-voting age about the GOP Primaries & Democratic Primaries. The thing that has consistently come up when it came to those who didn't mind the idea of President Trump or effectively supported him was because of his being of an outsider and not being part of what seems to be a rising political class in Washington, a majority of Americans agree there is such a class. He's not afraid to say what's on his mind nor being politically correct and that is more than likely what appeals most to the 1 in 4 GOP voters.

I would like to point out though, it shouldn't be lost the fact that Poll numbers never are the same as voting numbers and that voting is still a few months away. If Trump truly troubles you, worry not.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing a Trump Presidency if I can get a glimpse into what else he has to offer.

I'd vote for him if I really cared enough to vote. I don't really like any of the candidates.
Same here. As far as Trump goes, we don't have to make jokes about him, he makes enough of a fool of himself on his own.
As for candidates, why doesn't "Ron Swanson" run? I'd be ecstatic to have him as President!

He brings up some valid points, but he also goes overboard. I have mixed feelings about him. I don't even know what to honestly think of this country anymore. The lines are so blurred between who's in the right and who's in the wrong, what the right approach is for different issues...people are being vilified for still believing in God, the Bible being taken at face value to be used against them; the definition of freedom is unclear anymore...the right and left wings are both taking themselves to extremes because they refuse to be wrong or to compromise.

The way I see things, both the liberal and conservative parties have valid points, but what used to make this country so great was how we compromised and combined our ideals to make it work. Yes, it's important to move forward and progress. No, we can't do whatever we want without consequences. But at the same time, we can't be so afraid to take risks that we don't advance at all. The fence isn't to keep us in, but to keep us out. The more people understand that, the better the future outcome.

Gosh, I could rant on forever. I've had these thoughts stuffed inside for months now. Sorry guys.

Aye.Now a days people are just selfish and want to do anything they can to feel justified for their wrong actions. They know it's wrong, which is why they obsess over getting people to agree with them so they can feel like it's right. They don't wan't to feel convicted.Even if it means taking someone else s freedom,or doing something wrong to make themselves feel good.

Exactly. And that applies to both wings.

I personally think people have grown so tired here in the U.S. of politicians whom are both superficial and fake whom seek out to mainly please specialized self-interests groups, lobbyists, or campaign supporters on the basis of any agenda which is made.

I feel that with TRUMP, although he is super-wealthy and successful, people have found a way to gravitate towards him because when he speaks publicly he cuts through all of the (politically correct) lingo and behavior and explains - truly - how some things remain. With that said, he does have a problem though of keeping his mouth shut on highly sensitive matters. (After all, if he is going to try to become President he needs to behave more professionally). But understand also that TRUMP is seeking to acquire supportive votes at this time and he's not about to back down on key issues involving controversy.
*If the guy were a horse...:pepe:...he would certainly remain the breed galloping around the U.S. desert southwest all wild and untamed which, in hindsight, could prove to either serve him well or it will completely ruin his overall chances of remaining one of the most dynamic U.S. Presidents the nation has ever seen.

(Note: Business executives are not all evil people btw and they're entire status and future vitality are completely dependent upon how successful the 'results' they do achieve).

I personally think that political parties should be done away with altogether. The Founding Fathers feared big government and political parties, for good reason.

That said, can we bring George Washington back from the grave? Or Teddy Roosevelt.
Eh more so just Washington with parties.... :P Jefferson and whomever else were the ones that started them.

Teddy Roosevelt yes that man he was the best most roughest toughest ruffian president. Ironically he should be my least favorite given my roots to Colombia and his... Encouragement for Panaminian independence for the canal.... No less.
