I've noticed recently whenever you shoot a flagship and it gets to the point of what other ships will be classified as "sunk" it will sink. No option to board or too parley. I personally am not a fan of boarding due to it being laggy and everyone turns invisible but I know others are so..

If you can manage to 1 shot a flagship from outside the range of its aggro it will sink without needing to grapple. This is extremely useful for loot runs as you can just sink them like every other ship. Hopefully it doesn't get changed tbh

I saw some of this near the end of the Yuletide Event but had not seen it before and have not seen it since. I have hit flagships outside the aggro range before many, many times without seeing this but that was before the Yuletide Event, I think but am not absolutely certain that I have also done this after the event and seen the flagship behave normally. I'll give it a try tonight.

So, I did check it out last night and it was not happening, flagships were behaving normally. This seems to be a bug similar to the one that suddenly caused everyone to crash when sailing and then disappeared with no apparent reason for appearing or disappearing, lol
