With the forsaken shallows update came a ton more content, and although that’s necessary in moving the game foward, I feel the effort would have been better spent somewhere else. For a while now, with cursed blades being the completely dominant weapon archetype, attention has been taken out of certain areas later game to focus more on grinding for those weapons (Them being the best legendary, and famed weapons in the game). While it is refreshing to have more than one legendary in the game, the end game is getting too foucsed on grinding out these weapons, and since that can only be done in specific locations, the emphasis is vastly on these weapons alone. As a solution to this problem, I vouch that tlopo adds new special weapons like the cursed blades, only different weapon types, that are acquired from different factions (example: defeating high level navy gives special guns [ex: mastercraft firearms], defeating high level EITC gives exceptional daggers[ex: imperial blades], while defeating skeletons and wild animals in general gives special staffs and dolls). Of course, with this, new end game areas must be added for EITC, skeletons, and Navy, but nevertheless, it would be worth the work. Not only does this solve the laggy clotting of players in areas such as el patrons mines, and isla tormenta, but it brings other weapon types into the picture, and gives them a chance to shine besides swords. Sailing could also yield its own unique sea based legendary and famed weapon sets to give sailing besides gold and resource farming more of a use. While my name ideas are less than creative, I’m sure the tlopo team can easily come up with something better. Make sure to give this lots of love, it could be real helpful to the devs at tlopo for how they could improve the later game.
