I remember the old Tortuga I miss it. And I only had one pirate with the old body type

Yeah, I've only seen videos of the old islands. It would be great to see them in game, but I'm not sure how they could integrate them (it would be kind of odd to have two Port Royals, Tortugas, etc.)

Is it just me or does the reconstructed Jack Sparrow model look better than the original?

Its the same model. So I don't see how it could besides different shaders, antaliasing, different Panda3D version, etc... But every model and texture in-game was taken from the POTCO phase files.

I think the devs are trying to improve the graphics and shading a bit, whilst working on bugs and glitches. But hey, it is just a theory a..... PIRATE THEORY.

My pirate doesn't look the same as it did... His face just is off. And he isn't as tall. Sven Squidfish sad.
Still, I do appreciate having the old body types with the short and skinny ones. Thank you so much for bringing pirates back to us.

There used to be better cloth option when you created a pirate i never like the beginners clothes they are ugly glade to see the old body types back

The character creation clothes are different than they used to be (but my version of "used to be" is '08 or '09). The clothes that I have in my profile pic are the clothes that I had originally chosen when creating my character in '08 (I was stuck with them as a basic access member and ended up taking a liking to them). Now these clothes aren't in the selection during character creation, and I have to go buy them from the shop. So yes they have changed in comparison to the early years of POTCO. I think that might be what he's getting at.

I know they are not in game, but did see some girl wearing a yellow royal corset and black capris that were only found in character creation back in potco.
