I thought it'd be cool if there was a global chat where you could communicate with everyone playing on your server, or even across servers if it was preferred. What are your thoughts?

I support district-wide chat but I'm hesitant about cross-district chat. Maybe it's worth testing both publicly.

I am half supportive of this. *The half which is non-supportive is the half which just knows the reality to where some kid would take full advantage of such a system in talking smack!

I like this idea a lot. So long as there'd be mute button of some sort.

This would make forming a group at a boss a lot easier too.

As I recall in the early days of TLOPO, you could chat with anyone, regardless of location, even when sailing. I remember you could even crew someone on land whilst at sea, just because you were sailing near the island they were on.
Ah, the good ol' days...
