It kicked me off the wheel and I couldn't get back on. When I theorized the game might still think I'm on the wheel, somehow, I tried to press ESC to get off it. Instead, the menu popped up, and I fell through my ship!
All in the middle of a battle. I think in the end it sunk (but I wasn't on it, I ported off and crashed porting back on). First time my ship has ever sank, if so.
