Graphics You Miss When Their Not On High

These are some shots I took today with my graphics on high. I usually run it in med. so I dont get too much lag during invasions. But you do really miss out on some neat things. ....

My old laptop couldn't handle it.. but when I got my new one and switched to high graphics.. well I looked like this o_o --->

I will never use anything different.

LOL. I know, really. Its almost like a whole new game. Plus I can set my monitor to game mode, so at night its not so dark, it brightens everything up.

I hate to admit this...but when I first started playing pirates a couple years ago, I didn't know that there was an option to change the graphics on the game. I looked pretty clear and in detail while everyone else looked like aliens! lol

I remember my noob days when I didn't know how to change the graphics I thought it was weird how pirates looked cool when you clicked their cards but were terrible when you looked at them.

I'm glad you can set it to high. Some people can't. It all depends on the entire PC configuration.
I've been building my own PC's for 18years now. Performance is my specialty. I have built 8 gaming configuration PC's in 10 years, one better then the next. It was a learning process with good help from the internet, & 3 years of trouble shooting training form Alienware Tech Reps. Take a look at alienware.com & you will get a better idea of what they sell. Well I dont have to buy them now, I build them.
It's nice & always a good plus for you to learn as much as you can about building PC's. It will save you alot of $$$ in th long run. What Alienware sells for thier prices, you can build one for about half the price or a bit more depending on what you put in it. Configuration is step one. You need to do alot of homework here. & talk to Tech Reps from different company's you buy parts from, & go from there. I'm glad you enjoy your gaming. I do,

Thanks John, and you are right but it also really depends on what kind of a system you want. I have built quite a few PC's myself, and they were for mild gaming. I invested in a new computer 6 months ago and for what I wanted and use it for I feel I got a great deal at the time. I did though replace my video card but only because it was given to me. Im a major multi tasker while I play games, and the extent of my gaming is POTC and TT (toontown). While running these I run skype, check email, FB, plus I check into my Guild Group I built to update on it while gaming. I will even run up to 3 pirates at a time, or TT and POTC at the same time. I love it.

I am with you John, the pics she showed are blurry for me, i set mine to high, and it just looks way to blurry, but on medium, it seems to work fine. Still have found no way to fix the lag during invasions, i have tried all the custom settings, but still doesnt help. And YIKES, someone had to add memory to my computer, never seen it opened up, and i thought, how the heck does all those things put together, actually make, the computer work, just looks way to scienfic to me,....hey this girl can type, anything accounting wise i am a wizard, but something looks mechanical and has to be put togther, no way,....
