I wanted to know becuase it seems like I have been waiting a long time and my guild name has not changed sadly

According to the wiki it's supposed to be around 1 maybe 2 days at most. John may be able to help better than i can.

You should get a notification when it is approved (and see it properly displayed under your pirate's name).

We have a backlog of requests in our queue that have been accumulating all day. Should be cleared soon. Patience! We have to manually approve all of these names.

I believe my guild's name was approved within a day's time. I don't think I got a notification for its approval, I jut logged in and noticed it. Granted, the guild was created at the start of beta, so I'm not sure how long the list of name requests is in comparison to what it was at that time.
