Question Has The Game Music Been Changed?

As I've been playing more recently I paid closer attention to some of the songs in game, one that struck me as being the most audibly altered was the main menu theme where you select a pirate. A lot of the game music seems to be different in pitch, sound effects and other games sound fine to me so I don't think its an issue on my end.

No. None of the music in-game has been altered recently.

As for the difference in pitch -
Do you typically wear headphones when you play? It is possible that if you don't typically wear headphones while playing TLOPO and suddenly start wearing them (vice versa), the audio will sound quite different.

Headphones pickup a lot more "little things" that you wouldn't hear otherwise when listening on you're computer's speakers because headphones amplify audio (hence, why games like FPS and Horror games encourage the use of headphones).
