I am done!! I do NOT want to keep getting such messages that bash the moderators, Johnny DaPirate, or any one else in this community that is trying to recreate the game. I do not care, nor am I bothered by the claims of these messages, for I do not believe them. However, it IS irritating to find them, and other such things that are trying to say anything malicious about TLOPO itself. I have done a great job ignoring them, however I do NOT want to keep receiving these messages. These solicitors have weak so called "proof" of these claims and UNTIL I see proper, verified evidence of these claims, I WILL NOT be swayed by this, nor will I put up with being Harassed by these messages.

Who else out there is bothered by these messages???

You know to be honest I'm irritated by the anger stirring from both sides. If certain people want to break off from The Legend of Pirates Online, let them do so in peace. It's their loss. If they try to provoke any of you, humor them or ignore them.
As a great man once said, "Turn the other cheek."
The less you allow it to affect you, the less they will continue to bother you. Eventually they will leave us alone and live with their own consequences.

Enough with the anger, from everyone.

Is someone private messaging you with this stuff? As per the banner at the top of the site, please REPORT these messages. It is a priority to the staff team to ensure everyone enjoys their time on the forums - and this is definitely a disruption.
 
Of course. I can only imagine that they have somehow been reported by someone else, as I can never find the message, but it comes up in my emails. And I can't stand finding these things.

i say disclose the names of the person or persons openly who are harassing you. inform and aware the public. report report report those who get off on making others miserable.

not if she had deleted them. that happened to me in the another remake forums. i received a misleading pm. and deleted in disgust. yet when i wanted to report the @#$^%&$, i couldn't use it because once the pm is gone, tis gone GONE.

if you can remember the sender's/s' name, say their name. expose the miscreant for who they truly are.

What good does that do, ultimately, though? Wouldn't it just be better to ignore them? If you don't acknowledge them, they don't have any fun whatsoever, and they'll eventually lay off.

We're dealing with a simple bully, not a warring country. Bullies expect a reaction. You don't give them one, they don't feel compelled to continue. That's not doing nothing, it's choosing not to stoop to their level.

Isn't there enough anger issues going on in the world right now, and directly going on around us? I feel like I sound like a hippie and not a pirate....but it's so true.

The last thing I want to be is a hippie or Social Justice Warrior, because there must be opposition in all things. However, sometimes it's better to take the higher ground and walk away from the taunting rather than to fight. I mean, it's not like these other guys are doing any real damage unless we let them.

I haven't seen nor heard any of the fights going on...I just think it's stupid to fight if we are truly all united in one idea. It's kind of pointless to argue or fight back and forth.

Understandable, definitely understandable. I've just been seeing a lot of bickering back and forth lately between TLOPO, Retribution, and all of the trolls riddled throughout both projects, and all the drama is starting to get a little old. There's no need for it. We should be able to handle it with both more patience but more assertiveness.
Essentially, we should be able to keep our cool while we focus on tackling the problem rather than complain about it.
