It surely has bugs, but for a beta it's not bad at all. I have seen worse.

One issue I solved is by using Nvidia drivers instead native OSX drivers. Crashes far less

Yes I agree that as a beta stage project it is doing very well. Also the big point with TLOPO is that it's not a franchise..it's simply a group of people who loved POTCO and and are using their spare time to bring the game back to everyone absolutely free!!
