Hello everyone. Hello, TLOPO staff members.

This is Hippie, aka Noah. You may know me from another particular game project.

I've decided to make this post because I've recently undergone a change of heart in my endeavors. I will no longer be competing with the fine game of TLOPO. It has performed well beyond my original expectations and brought something tangible to the community, in the most legitimate form possible. Your developers have performed beautifully, whether it be cleaning up Disney's content, improving on it, or even adding your own. Despite the game not being opened for a decent bit of time now, I'm fairly confident that you plan to release around the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" release date. Your release will likely feature a replica of Disney's servers from 2013, as you have openly announced. It particularly astonishes me how you've managed to build this game from the ground up, despite not even accepting any donations. Truly a respectable feat, enemy or not.

For this, I congratulate and thank you. You have truly brought the game to our community, especially if you release a public server.

I know that I have a dark history involving your project; I have openly expressed slander, lies, rude remarks, and have tried plenty of other methods of inflicting harm upon you. Being part of a competing POTCO emulator, I did what I felt was necessary to achieve victory and attempt to bring a more public, and successful emulator into the light.

Because of this dark history, I believe an apology is in order. I sincerely, and officially apologize for whatever troubles I have caused this past year.

I was under the belief that this project would not live up to my expectations. However, I feel that I will be proven wrong upon your upcoming release, and you will show the community that you are able to provide what we've been waiting for all this time.


I care about this game more than any sane man should. A few of you probably already know that. I'm an absolute fanatic over the PvP minigame, I even made a full guide about it about a year ago if you want to see: http://piratesonline.wikia.com/wiki/Hippie's_Competitive_(Jumper)_PvP_Guide

There is no stopping my passion for it. Saying this, it would absolutely break my heart if I were to not be allowed to play your game because of my past transgressions.

So I simply ask; Put my past behind me, and let's start anew. None of us should let the limelight of this summer be spoiled by drama or personal issues. I simply wish to play.

But that bridge can't be built if a public apology is not genuinely made. From the above, I am sorry but...it doesn't sound too much like an "official" apology. (Just that you imply 'defeat' of some sort and that you wish to play TLOPO).

Would you be willing to apologize to the community as a whole?

Sure, in whatever fashion you'd wish. I'd like to make it clear that I'm not speaking for another remake in any way. I'm not "implying" or "admitting" defeat as a staff member of another remake. I'm apologizing and announcing my resignation as an individual.

It's not up to me (at all). It's the community...

I hope that you do, in a genuine way.
 
Looks good to me, now only if we could get a certain someone else to do the same thing cough.
 
I know but he should still do the Wright thing, ha ha, ha. Okay let me stop before I get moderated. But yeah welcome aboard mate.

and it's not like you need our permission to play. if the community rejected you, that would be a problem. you wanting to play the game is not a problem. Anyone from any opposing side wanting to play TLOPO should not be a problem.

I can't even name anything in particular OP did wrong, but whatever it is I'm sure we're able to forgive. People have forgiven far more.
