As long as hes a part of the community and has a positive outlook nowadays and logs in the game when its back and plays it peacefully then all the more welcome. More pirates on board our journey helps everyone.
 
I sincerely respect anyone who apologises and takes responsibility for their actions and I wish you well. Remember that words are very cheap, but your actions from now on will determine your sincerity and willingness to integrate fully and peacefully back into this wonderful community.
Once again I personally and honestly wish you a peaceful, and rewarding return to the fold. :bounce:
 
I'm not sure who you are but I'll share this: when I cook on my backyard grill, it doesn't put me in competition with In-N-Out Burger.

I've decided to make this post because I've recently undergone a change of heart in my endeavors. I will no longer be competing with the fine game of TLOPO. It has performed well beyond my original expectations and brought something tangible to the community, in the most legitimate form possible. Your developers have performed beautifully, whether it be cleaning up Disney's content, improving on it, or even adding your own. Despite the game not being opened for a decent bit of time now, I'm fairly confident that you plan to release around the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" release date. Your release will likely feature a replica of Disney's servers from 2013, as you have openly announced. It particularly astonishes me how you've managed to build this game from the ground up, despite not even accepting any donations. Truly a respectable feat, enemy or not.

I don't know you, or anything about your history with TLoPO/any other remake and I tend to take people as I find them
so Welcome, I hope you can settle into our community :)
 
I believe apologizing is probably one of the hardest feats any human has to overcome, considering we are probably one of the most arrogant species that walk on Earth. As far as I'm concerned, you will always have those that despise you because of your past. But coming out about it, accepting it, and moving on, is something that shows maturity and growth, and shows strength above all else.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, Hippie made a huge stride by posting an apology on this community run forum. It may not be enough to fully repair any damage done, after all, the most fatal wounds leave behind scars. But it's still a step in the right direction. So, although I don't know you, I commend you @Hippie for apologizing, and I welcome you to the forums, and to the community.
 
Actually, I do have a suggestion. There are people in both communities that like to trash talk about the "opposing" project. Perhaps, an action you can take is calming down the "other remake" community?

*EDIT* Most of the trash talking about the "other remake" takes place on Facebook, which I try to calm down. You won't find much on the forums, due to rules.
 
Hippie, move on from this, and sin no more. Mainly cuz I'm pretty sure that at least a few pairs of eyes will be very firmly on any moves you make. Heh.

When I graduated from high school, I tried to graduate from drama. That being said, dont steal my kills or ships and we'll be square. And that goes for all ya mangey dogs (: lol
 
Welcome Hippie ...... I don't know what you have done in your past and to be honest I don't care. I DO commend you on your apology for

whatever said deed was done. However .. that apology MUST be genuine ... it is up to you to be "Part of the Crew" now... it is much easier to forgive than forget. So welcome ... I want to see what how genuine and honorable you are !!! :raft:
 
I for one, am a firm believer that no person should be judged forever, solely on past actions. I've been given many second chances in life, (probably too many) so it would be wrong of me to not afford the same opportunity to everyone else. With that I say, welcome home mate. I hope we can have a prosperous and peaceful future, and all enjoy the core reason of our meeting in the first place. This amazing game.
