Did I say you said anything about their speed? YOU quoted MY post which was talking about the SPEED of ships, and you said something totally unrelated, about BROADSIDES.

I see lots of Galleons. Lately seen a few doing ok in SvS.

I use them, but they are definitely a special use ship. They work best with Fortune Hunter hull. Seen a few Skull and Bones and Copperheads. At level VI they pack some serious armor.

I'd laugh too if I was with ye on yar ship!

...........but I was solo on a lvl IV copperhead war sloop, and the other ships around had small or no crews. So it took a bit to win, but win we did.

With level VI hulls they are more viable then before, but not the best choice for sure.

Honestly Frigates are much better than Galleons but I do like Galleons for there size. However there size isn't efficient in the game so really what's the point.
