HOW & WHY?!?!?

We have relaxed our standard for guild names slightly to allow for the proper use of exclamations and question marks following multiple guild name requests several months ago. This was simply an instance where our internal policy changes weren't yet updated on our website. We will be updating the site with this policy change today.

There are a total of 26 guild names which contain "?" or "!" within the game.

Some examples of those approved guilds with different punctuation:

• Haunted Revenge!
• Got Rum?
• Oh Whale!
• Cow Goes Moo!

We do not bias moderation policy in favor of our staff members.

Going to leave this locked as I think the issues raised have been sufficiently addressed. As noted previously, sometimes TLOPO makes mistakes. Names which violate the rules can be reported through the usual channels. Question marks and exclamation marks have been allowed for a while, there are numerous guild names which have them, and the TLOPO terms will be updated to reflect that.
