I got hacked

Some additional information. I had Steam Guard enabled at all times, but when I was trying to log in I was typing in my steam guard codes and the person could of logged in as I was typing. When he had access to my account, I saw from Google Chrome that my profile was still logged in, when I was logged out. I checked on my Steam app that 12 csgo skins was removed over 1$ and not the other skins under 1$. I checked my steam trade and the skins went to a trading bot to some malicious website.
Steam's security is stupid because it doesn't trade ban you when you remove your guard. If they had done that, I would of saved 100$. Steam has a feature to lock my account, which I did, but the locking method was so confusing that the person had enough time to take my items. Steam support wasn't easy either, I tried contacting support but their webpage only leads in a circle and returns back to the support page.

No matter what there's an email to confirm any trade or sale or purchase. This whole story is fragmented and is impossible.

I never get emails about this when I had Steam Guard. I had my email on my account and tried to change my password with email verification, which doesn't work, and I locked my account with that.

It just seems a bit of a stretch that all the Steam security was somehow bypassed here...

I doubt it.gif

I just got emailed by steam support that my password was reset and the steam guard number was removed! I now have control of my account, but I still lost 100$ worth of skins...

It appears that the account was compromised. To prevent unauthorized access to the account, I recommend that you enable the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator.

I've reset the account password and sent the new login information to the email address you've contacted us from. If the email is not received, please check the spam or trash folder.

As with any security reset, the account will be unable to trade or buy/sell in the Community Market for 15 days.

I recommend that you also review our Account Security Recommendations.

Thanks for using Steam,
Jason

Not to stray off-topic, but this thread has basically degraded to nothing more than bashing the OP. Anyone have anything helpful to add?

Ok... After reading through that whole thing, the only way that something like that could be possible is if you played on a community, VAC insecure, server (You were in a private match so I'll let it slide). IF you are telling the truth, there was something malicious in the workshop content while joining the server. Although, I have been a part of the Steam workshop for about 3 years and I have NEVER seen a keylogger or anything malicious other than a possible Trojan.
