I Think I Figured Out Why Enemies Cause Lag

I was leveling doll and I noticed when I kept some distance from an enemy it's legs would move but it wouldn't chase after me, when this happened I noticed a lot of lag until the enemy died, so I guess the staff should make it so the enemies chase after us like they did in potco to get rid of the lag but I doubt its that easy to remove the lag caused by enemies
 
Lag is due to the server maintenance not being able to suffice the resources for animations caused by enemies. I avoid this by attacking enemies with splash damage [broadsword, grenade, staff]

Definitely agree with divine.
Another cause is because the game is made with Panda3D a very old game engine and the game uses OpenGL not DirectX.

In the days of POTCO, we could select our API between DirectX 8 and 9, as well as openGL. To be brutally honest, I prefer OpenGL because of its cross-platform nature.
