Most of the highest level bosses are mainly an afk fest where nobody really pays attention since a single person closest to the boss will just take all the hits. One change that could be made is to make boss weapon's work like player ones.

Right now, when a boss uses an AoE skill (like sweep, or vipers nest), it only hits a single person, despite the skill being an AoE skill. If boss skills were to do AoE damage like their equivalent player counterparts, and bosses had the ability to use more than one weapon (ex. they could swap to a weapon with an AoE skill to do an AoE), this would bring a couple changes:

There would be more value in using healing skills (and in obtaining healing dolls), since alot of players would be taking damage once in awhile.
This would make defensive skills (like parry/wind guard) and current "junk famed" weapons that have parry skills have a use in PvE (and allow future famed weapons to have the theme of boosting a pirate's defense/survivability).
Players would have to pay some attention to a boss fight instead of zzZ left click, but without breaking the basic potco design idea of simplicity and without introducing any new skills or boss mechanics.
We could have a deadly new broadsword wielding boss that cleaves nearby players down with broadsword's aoe abilities.

This could be done for just a few select bosses people farm, or even to none of the current bosses, and instead only to select, top end bosses introduced in the future.
