Question Installation Issue

I just bought a new computer and am trying to install the game, but I keep getting an error: "couldn't extract archive." Does anyone have a fix for this?

Does the error include a specific file name? If so, try deleting that file then run the launcher again.

Example: "Couldn't extract archive: phase_2mf.bz2"

That's exactly what it says! I'll try that.

EDIT:
There's only a phase 1 file, should I try deleting that?

@Malia try reinstalling launcher it might fix it if not check your virus and click it to allow tlopo or run the program as admin

Because it said something along the lines of "couldn't extract phase 2" so I knew which one to delete.

@xfiles @miafff453445 I fixed it. I had to open the TLOPO launcher's file location and then delete whichever phase it couldn't extract. I should've updated this thread when I found the answer, sorry about that! Thank you for the responses!
