We’re flabbergasted by the amount of perfect Pirate gear Peddlers are producing this year,

and perhaps none more so than September’s brand new garb. Well-dressed Pirates’ top request is for more black-colored clothing kits befittin’ the life of a seafaring scoundrel.
This month’s all-new attire may just hit the spot:
Capt. Black
Whether captaining yer crew on the Black Pearl quest, or leading a night raid on Kingshead, Capt. Black fits the bill. Just don’t get mistaken for one of the EITC Black Guard – unless yer a double-agent naturally.

Peddlers begin offering these new items Sept. 1 on Port Royal, Tortuga, Padres del Fuego, and Cuba.
Gather yer gold, and look for the Peddlers' special symbol:

Another reason to sign the petition... disney is starting to take out normal clothing items and make you pay extra for them and call them Capt Black? Check out the guys pants...
 
meh not bad but considering we dont have any inventory room to use it.... I mean realy do you guys even think anymore. Yea these are all reskinned clothes but they do look good (coat and vest) but when we asked for more black clothing we meant something a pirate would wear not the governer of Port Royal and even then I'm not so sure he would wear it. We need more clothing that you dont have to loot (or pay a lot of gold for and wait every month for it) that you can just buy and change colors like how it was in the old days.

Are we all going to a funeral? Lol, In all honesty I only like what looks like the shirt beneath the vest. :fight:The books look exactly like the wildfire boots only a few changes same with the vest. Maybe they made a mistake with the guys pants?
 
The vest looks sharp - although it's probably just a recolored Wildfire vest - and the coat just looks like a spiffied up version of the Adventure Coat... Methinks Disney is running out of ideas for the umpteenth time...

On the bright side, we can have tacos on our heads again!!

You get the girl's pants from the Barbosa clothing quest. :|

And are the shoes from another set? They look familiar..
 
The shoes are same as the wildfire except the wildfire has gold trim on the bottom as well. The hat is the same as the hat from a peddler set in april 2010, just a different color. The coat is the same as the adventure long coat from the Adoria's family quest, just a different color. The vest is the same vest from wildfire just a different color as well. The pants are the same as the pants in the clothing fit for a pirate quest. So pretty much the only thing 'new' is the shirt...
 
At peddlers catalog, you can choose color of blouse. I bought dark red blouse, put it on, and it turned into plain blouse, even its name ?_?

The loose chaps from the 'Pilgrim Explorer' set "supposedly" had the color change feature too... but the feature did not seem to work when you bought them. They just showed as plain.
