Question Is the Level Cap Being Raised Soon?

So, today, as I was farming Drench and Drizzle inside the damp and dark caverns of Forsaken Shallows, I heard a fellow pirate speak of a upcoming update to the game. He mention that the level cap was being raised from Level 50 to Level 60. Next week! Is this true? I was hoping that I would have time to reach the current level cap, settle in, and master my remaining weapons before having to worry about reach yet another level cap. Could someone please shed some light on this subject? Was this fellow pirates speaking of myth, or telling the cold hard truth?

I heard level cap was going to 75 / 50 not 60 /45 ! Just Imagine the XP to get to 75 and weapons to 50 ! NOT ! lol
