Is trading coming or not?

Maybe IP locks? That could solve it easily. As Far as I know, no programs available to the general public can get past an IP lock.

Now to dumb it down..

Would the IP lock be part of the game or the player playing?
IDK what it is but I'm assuming it stops someone from viewing your IP address therefore accessing ones account/info

No an IP lock means only that IP can log onto the game. Like the original IP, Simpler terms. The hackers cannot log into someone else's account, unless they had the same IP address, which is impossible.
 
I think that their should be a loot quality rating, such as a legendary is worth :xbones: :xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones: and a famed :xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones: and a bright :xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones: and a bright and a legendary :xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones::xbones: or something. Then you could tell if a trade was worth it or not.
If disney doesn't want to do that, they should let us have storages so we can trade things. Maybe I could give Leo my bright yellow jacket and then he could give me a revanent ram or something like that. So it wouldn't be direct trading, just gifting to one another or our own type of trading.
If disney doesn't allow either, we should have a protest like we did for the leaderboards. We have 1400 members, we CAN do it.

Or is the user able to lock and unlock his IP?

That sounds good but you should be able to use multiple IP's... For example you might play on a lap top or on a PC at different times...

I agree, however on the very small chance that Disney would even consider using IP locks, they would most likely look into it all.

Zia, not sure, what weapon you need i pretty much have one if them on one of my pirates, if not, money,.hey that easy, we gypsies have a way with cards for sure, make 50,000 in black jack easily in ten minutes play. Trading days, trading days, someone save me one, i got the money,..buried in secret place just waiting for the day...:piratemickey:

i dont know about you, but on abassa tortuga, i think i rather have them crying and begging to trade a weapon than crying out, I NEED A GIRL FRIEND, or boy friend, (i seen girls do it to), or knocking each other out with grenades, and pvp glitch, when the heck did abassa turn into a giant, play ground, mom's quit dropping your kids off, they need a better after school program, they have no adult supervision, they getting out of hand,...i for one have to take long way around get to misty more, or rats nest, crud,..:confused: maybe little trading of weapons get them excited about playing potc again, and wanting to level weapons, kill a few enemies, instead of each other, who knows.. :fight:

Maybe they should just build an insane asylum on Abassa. Padded, sound-proof walls.

Is trading coming or not?

It's a big question mark, nobody knows. There was a hint, long time ago, but so was about the Kraken and a lot of things. Some of the hints (and also pirates' desires) have come true, some have not. So, I don't think anybody could answer affirmatively.

It's time to dig the old 'archives'; this topic, among all other topics, are still here if you all would like to flip back to older times. I have found one for you. It's a good reading; to see what our members' ideas were:

I just don't understand why you guys WANT trading. You can't brag about finding a legendary or something because they don't know if you even traded for it or not. Besides, lv 30's could be walking around with things like dark black sack vest and thunderspine. It's just not practical. I don't want trading at all. I am completely against it. When you are mastered, looting is the only thing you can really do anymore. What's the point of looting if you can just trade? Just think about that.
 
Ok, I've given it a bit more thought, and I think it would kind of be a bad idea. People keep bringing up the thing about lvl 30's and what not walking around with all the good stuff, when you have to realize. People will not just give things away. They will trade, and most low level people have nothing good to trade with a person who has like everything already. So that wouldn't be a problem. However, I still do want Player trading, because as Eliza said, it could open up so many more doors. Making an entire pirates economy, thus boosting the game up to actually compete with other MMORPG's, because right now it's not. Now if they wouldn't do player trading, they should at least allow us to trade between our own pirates. That way say, if I get bright red pants on my main, but I already have them, but my alternate pirate doesn't, I can give them to him. I think however Player trading would be a good idea, as it could make this game better, and at least start to fulfill the potential that it has. But until Disney themselves announces it, we don't know what's coming. So it's just a waiting game.

because i want a DAD GUM CORSET, A BLACK AND A RED ONE, and they just dont give them out anymore, no matter how much you loot, you can loot day and night and you still wont get one, so bring in the traders, i teach the low to play black jack, you think it not fair to them, i dont care, i just want a corset, ok,....:confused:
 
i what trading to come i like to get some stuff i didnt have yet like my other pirate i dont use any nore have the black corset and i what with one of the pirate i use more now days
