It's been a dire week, especially for CYNDAGO.

CYNDAGO, the creative YouTube team of Daniel Kyre, Ryan Magee, and Matt Watson, hoped to bring happiness to others through their music videos and comedy sketches amidst "modern day monotony."

A majority have been introduced to CYNDAGO -- including myself -- through Markiplier, a Youtube gamer and online charity fundraiser.

Recently, Mark had made a post, leaving many people worried for him, but Mark's absence from youtube is a reaction to the sudden death of one of his close friends, Daniel Kyre.

On Friday, September 19th, CYNDAGO made a post on facebook concerning Daniel:

Hello everyone. We have some very important and tragic news regarding Cyndago and our future.

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that Daniel was found in his room on the afternoon of September 16th in critical condition after an apparent suicide attempt. He was rushed to the emergency room and transferred to the intensive care unit. Family was notified and flew to Los Angeles to be by his side. Doctors confirmed that he had suffered irreversible brain damage and would not survive.

He was taken off of life support on Friday, September 18th, 2015.
Surrounded by his family, Daniel passed away in peace.

We would like to announce that Cyndago will no longer carry forward. We have no plans to release any further videos, podcasts, or songs. We will release one final vlog addressing the current situation.

If anyone out there experiences suicidal thoughts or is battling anxiety/depression, we urge you, please seek help. You are worth more than you think, and suicide reaps massive effects upon everyone around you - your friends, your family, and everyone's life who you touched. There is always hope. There is always tomorrow.

We would like to thank everyone who stood with us throughout the years. When Cyndago was started in 2012, we never expected to come this far. It's been nothing short of an amazing journey and all of you are loved. You have all changed our lives and we hope that we could make each one of you smile. We're truly sorry that a story that brought so many people happiness had to have such a sad ending. Daniel will live on in our hearts and in the memories of the thousands of people he brought joy to everyday through YouTube. We thank you all. Goodbye.

A message from Daniel's father:

My wife's, his 18 year old sister's and my heart will never mend. We'll never know why this happened. Things were really starting to gel after the short seven months Daniel moved from our home in South Carolina to LA to pursue his dreams thanks to you and the opportunity afforded by Mark Fischbach.

On Wednesday September 16th I sent Daniel a text telling him how excited I was for him that things are really looking good with the Markiplier / Cyndago collaboration, the other Cyndago activities and the music he was writing with his guitar (Daniel was a great guitar player). I ended the text asking him "Are you happy?". I never heard back. An hour later I received a call from an LA ambulance asking me if I am the father of Daniel Kyre.

We sincerely thank you and Mark for the support and opportunities you gave Daniel. Everyone that came in contact with him loved him and was awed with his multiple talents. Our lives will never be the same. The world will never be the same.

- David Kyre

From Mark, made earlier today on Facebook ::

It's taken me a long time to find the words to properly express how I feel about this tragedy. As many of you know by now, Daniel Kyre has passed away after an apparent suicide attempt. I know everyone will say that we can't blame ourselves for this loss but that doesn't stop the lingering thoughts in the back of our minds from creeping in. Time will silence those demons but for right now I would like to remember the man that inspired me so much.

About 2.5 years ago I received an email from Cyndago. In that email, they expressed a strong desire to collaborate with me after watching many of my videos. They thought that my voice would be the perfect fit as a narrator on a new horror/comedy sketch. You might remember that sketch as Danger in Fiction.

After that video launched I couldn't get enough of working with these amazing young men, Daniel and Ryan. I just HAD to take a full week to drive down and work with these 2, and during that trip I saw first-hand the ENDLESS enthusiasm and drive they had for creating. Most of the time it was raw and crude, but it was still burning with a fiery intensity.

I could fill a book with the experiences we had together since then but now is not the time for that. For now, I will say that the fire they lit in my heart still burns strong today. And though we are all lost in grief I will forever remember Daniel as the amazingly talented and dedicated man I always knew.

An incredible musician. A perfectionist to the extreme. A great friend. Daniel, I miss you more than words can say and I never had the proper chance to tell you how much I enjoyed working with you. How much I enjoyed learning from you. How much I enjoyed spending time with you. I hope you knew.

And to Ryan and Matt, I know that this tragedy won't stop us from creating. Though Cyndago may have ended, Markiplier will continue on. And I will support the both of you in EVERYTHING you wish to do. Until the end of our days, I will support you. And together, I know that we will make something amazing again.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this long post. This wound is still very fresh in our hearts so please give us time. When we return, we will return strong. And we will never forget the man who inspired us to expect more of ourselves.

I'll miss you Daniel.

From Mark early Sunday the Sept 27th on FaceBook ::

Hey guys, the service has passed and I got to spend a good amount of time with Daniel's friends and family. I'm headed back to Cincinnati for a few more days and then will be trekking my way back to LA. I hope to have videos back on schedule in a week or so but before that happens there's a lot of things that I need to take care of.

I won't go into details but if Ryan, Matt, and I are going to be able to live in LA and work together again I have to take some steps to make it a happy environment again. On the bright side that does involve finally getting a dog! My heart wants a golden but I'll check shelters first to see if there's a lovable goof that needs a good home.

It'll take time before we're all working together again but after speaking with Ryan and Matt I know that we have so many amazing things we want to do once we return. I am truly grateful that you guys have been so understanding during this rough time. Things will steadily get back to normal and I'm honestly excited to see what we will create with our renewed spirit.

Thank you all so much.

-Mark

From Markiplier last night Sept 30th on Facebook ::

I'm back in LA. I'm going to be easing myself back into the video world very soon but before that there's a lot to do. It's strange being in this house again but with each thing I clean up it becomes a little bit more like home. And I eagerly await the arrival of a new puppy to keep me company!
