Blog Post It’s Time to Dig for Gold!

This is what beta keys will look like in loot. As said above, they will be displayed in your account in the Earned Keys tab.

(I did not get a key, this was just shared with me)

Edit: Also, I was able to confirm that keys are available in loot and digging to all players - regardless if they have a key on their account or not.

Edit 2: Also, keys are only available in loot on land, not by sailing.

Edit 3: Bosses often drop higher quality loot...................

So how likely is it that i get a key it i just stand there and dig for a long time? Cuz i will do it if i have to

No, I believe selling keys for either gold (via blackjack trade) or real currency is not allowed and can result in action taken against your account.

The reason for people with keys to search for them is to give friends/guildmates keys.
 
Are you still allowed to give keys to your friends if you were to get multiple or get a key even if you already have full beta access?

It would be pretty cool if it was an item in your inventory and you could sell it to a npc for a couple thousand gold.
 
oh... dear... god... I was switching time slots between accounts so i could go digging but someone TOOK IT the second before i click reserve...... im so upset...... i just want a beta key so bad DX
