Kraken

When POTCO was still around, I noticed people talking about an update that Disney was going to release that involved the Kraken. Will TLOPO get around to that after all the fixes and updates and everything else before it or will it be never included?​

I hope that it will be added! Although you would need Davy Jones.

If it is going to be added, I think it will be added in a very, very long time, just because they need to get everything else done first.​

Right now we are primarily concentrating on making TLOPO to be like POTCO was when it closed. Once that is complete, we will look into adding new content. We do not know at this time exactly what that will include, if anything. We are keeping everyone's suggestions in mind

I believe a system of a kraken battle would be best if you can hire a crew and then wait for a Kraken event that occurs every once in a while. Then, (the game being in a post-Curse of the Black Pearl and pre-Dead Man's Chest era, I assume.) there can be an area where you can go to and press a button or something to initiate a Kraken battle. (Crew votes for it) Then there can be a cut scene where Davy Jones & the Flying Dutchman appears and Davy says, "Summon the Kraken." The Kraken then appears and wraps around your ship and the battle initiates.

Jolly Roger's Island would probably come first, since that's what was originally being developed around the time HOP was added to the game. And shortly before potco shut down in late sept 2013. But I do like the idea of the kraken being added. Isla Tormenta is where Davy Jones's crew is after all. But all in good time I'm sure. After all, anything worth having takes time.

I'd imagine that if the Kraken were to be implemented, that it would be linked to an entirely new quest chain. Perhaps the Kraken could be another added boss battle?

I was thinking about adding some kind of kraken event much like the Treasure Fleet where the Kraken will spawn near a island and follow a route, and ships can go fight it.

Will Bounty Hunters be added because that was honestly a feature I hated when it was implemented into the game because it took away from the 'grinding aspect'...
