Laptop help

I was wondering if it's possible to make the game more compatible with laptops. I current play on a windows 10 laptop and every 5-10 minutes the game crashes. It also lags a lot but I'm not too worried about that. It may just be my laptop but I had a desktop a few years back when the game was connected to Disney still, I didn't have that problem other than a few lag spikes every once in a while, and it was a really bad computer. If it's just my computer please tell me if there's a way to fix it. Thanks ^-^

Hello there Alyss,

In short most (Perhaps all) computers should suffice for TLOPO. I myself am playing it on a Windows 8.1 laptop (Which isn't really built for gaming). Truth be told, since TLOPO is still in beta there will be numerous issues (Bugs, crashes etc).

Out of curiosity what are your graphics settings at for TLOPO and perhaps as a partial solution to this, might i recommend turning down your graphics to low (Assuming you have them turned up to medium or so)? I noticed when i did the amount of crashes was significantly reduced.

You can browse this thread i've linked here at your leisure (In case it does help): https://piratesforums.co/threads/my-game-settings.16102/

Hey Arabella,
Thanks for the recommendation. I actually have all of my settings set to the default so I'll turn them down and see how that works. THANKS AGAIN!!! :D:D:D

Make sure your vsync is turned on and all sound is off this is what has helped me and many others aswell

I'm not knocking your fix, but vsync worked wonders for me without having to turn the sound off, so I would try that first and see if you still need to disable the sound.
I'm sure turning off the sound makes it more stable yet, but I personally need the sound on to enjoy the game :P
