Loot from the Black Pearl liberation quest

I have done the Black Pearl boss quest ten or so times and have recieved the potion, but tonight I got a loot pouch as well. I was curious if anyone else has gotten loot from it, or if this was some freak incident (or I was just previously very unlucky?).

It isn't a common occurrence, but the four Navy Panthers sunk before leaving the harbor and the Goliath both have a slim chance of dropping loot containers, though most of the time it will typically be gold.
