Pirate Lord
Now that TLOPO Beta is open, please use this thread to report any crashes, glitches, bugs, gameplay or log in issues.
The game is in Beta so as you report issues, please be patient. The TLOPO team has put so much work and effort into getting the game off the ground and onto the high seas! As you find issues, report them here so the team is made aware of them.

Please list as much detail as possible as to your location, what you are trying to do, and if there is an error code.

Note: PLEASE do not use this thread to hold discussions. This is just a public center to report crashes and game issues.
Thanks!

I can't play much. I try turning the settings to low, but the game crashes then sets back to High when I get back in. My computer can't run High well. It would be able to run low/medium way better, but the game keeps crashing.

When sailing, most enemy ships would only turn around in place and stare at me, not attacking or moving. I killed at least a dozen high lvl ships with just my sloop. Only 2 ships even fired back, A Revenant's shots went straight through me, and a Navy Frigate barely did any damage with 3+ volleys making direct contact. Makes ship-to-ship combat way too easy.

Enemy ships are spawning inside the island and aren't moving

There is an interesting glitch, where if you accept a quest from a quest-giver, and you want to obtain another quest from the same person, you have to talk to a merchant (maybe another towns person, but i haven't tested that out)
.

i've been experiencing occasional lagging and several crashes when in combat with enemies, landing on islands after sailing, etc.

Entering combat causes frames to drop tremendously, as well as the music stopping for a few seconds. Furthermore, I was crashing literally every 3 minutes. Although, setting tlopo.exe's priority in task manager to high seemed to temporarily fix this.

Also, sailing combat doesn't work 90% of the time. Broadside cannons just drop in the ocean after you click on the ability. I've had to park my ship in a good position and just use regular cannons to sink ships.

The game for some reason has started hanging for me when joining a server, unlike when I joined on release. The loading screen stops at either 45%-50%.

I know only the end of this is applicable, but I thought I'd paste it all anyway just in case it's needed.

I softlocked after the tutorial scene where you recieve the cutlass-- I wasn't given the cutlass so I couldn't click on it to proceed.

Myrb9Ku.png

After this, the tutorial refused to load past 50% with this pirate.

After making a new pirate, the tutorial worked properly.

The compass is available in the tab menu before you obtain it.

In the tab menu, Weapons Belt and Notoriety have the tool tips "Hearties" and "Weapons", respectively.

when you log in and change your settings, I was told that you may need to exit the game normally for the change to save. If you crash, the options dont save. Maybe that will work

Massive frame drop when background music is swapped out. Also massive frame drop when around another player.

And I got 4790K 4.0ghz and GTX 1070 so it shouldnt be that rough for me:harry:

Hi, just got in game a few mins ago. Did first quest in Port Royal grave yard. A little buggy moving around, which is to be expected. Biggest issue I'm having is I can't load in after entering the tree tunnel to go see Tia. I log into character page, press play but get stuck at 50% , so can't even get back into game to do a report the bug or teleport out into another area. :dunno:
