Sailing MEGATHREAD: Hanging/frozen loading screens (ship docking, etc)

Now my ship has completely disappeared from my ships list!! I might cry a little.. :(

Can anyone offer help.. anyone.... anyone?.... Bueller?... Bueller?

I just had a pirate on less then an hour ago trying to check if searches worked yet . Now loading freezes at 30 % .
tried a re download with no avail.
 
I relaunced for an hour , re downloaded game , checked for updates on pc and laptop > none .... lol ........ Finally got one on but took over 20 mins to load past that 30 % mark .....
