The video below is a (nearly) 3 minute tutorial regarding how to reach the Hollowed Woods event area, but for those of you who may not be able to view the video below for any reason, there are a set of steps that I listed out right below.

1. Make your way to Port Royal, and head up to the Port Royal Graveyard, where you first have to defeat some Gravediggers after making your pirate.

2. Grab the Hollowed Woods: Part 1 quest from Anne Goldsilver and then take a left and head down the dirt path into the graveyard and make your way to the tree tunnel in the back-right corner.

3. Enter through the tunnel to King's Run, and start heading toward the river basin until you reach the right incline of the hill with a waterfall, and climb that ramp.

4. At the top you'll see the gate to Hollowed Woods, and it will be open if the event is currently active.

The ghouls and ghosts of the Hollowed Woods do not use any ordinary coin or trinket as currency. It takes much more to pay these remnants of the afterlife, and the only form of payment they will accept is the bones of another living creature. Bones that are applicable to payment in Hollowed Woods drop from the following enemy types:

Undead, Jumbees, Davy Jones' Crew, and twisted creatures such as Stumps.

Bones are NOT available from Sailing, Cannon Defense, the Black Pearl Battle, or Card Games.

Small Bones
Small bones are the first of the available currencies from the Hollowed Woods, and are obtained in bunches from as low as 1, up to 20 at a time in a single Loot Pouch. These are the most common of the currency, will drop the most often, and are used to purchase much of the uncommon gear that is found from the vendors.

Large Bones
Large Bones are the next of the Hollowed Woods currencies, and are available exclusively from Loot Chests in bounties of up to 15 per container. Combined with our next currency, these bones are used to purchase higher end items from the vendors in the Hollowed Woods area.

Haunted Bones
Last, but most certainly not least are Haunted Bones. Found in drops of up to 5 and exclusive to Loot Skull Chests, these bones are not only the most difficult to find, but are also very limited in quantity when they are found. That being said, this is entirely made up for when considered that these bones in quantity will pay for the most high end, Best in Slot equipment available from the Hollowed Woods event.

**NOTE: Need to figure out how many bones you have in your pirate's possession? Hit 'I' on your keyboard and open up the material pouch tab on your inventory to keep track of your event currencies.

The Hollowed Woods event area is comprised of four vendors, there is a Gypsy, a Weapons Vendor, a Tailor Shop, and a Tattoo Parlor.

Decrepit Shop, Tailor Shop
The first building that you can visit when entering the area, this is a small two story townhouse on the South-Western corner of the jungle. This is the NPC instance you will use to obtain clothes that are exclusive to this event.

Tattoo Parlor
Made in the refuge of a hollowed-out tree in the center of the Hollowed Woods area, the tattoo parlor holds inside it many rare, and previously unreleased tattoos from Pirates Online.

Gypsy
Like any old Gypsy, the NPC here can refill your tonics and sell you standard staves and dolls. But that's not what you're here for, is it? Walk up to the door of the Gypsy Cart to enter and be greeted by the final NPC.

Weapon Vendor
April May handles the transactions of bone-to-weapon ratio, and she is no short-stop in power either. Her inventory contains some of the absolute Best-in-Slot Voodoo Staves, such as the Corpse Staff or the Staff of Lava, as well as some pretty nifty dolls and a Magma Blunderbuss that rivals the infamous Grand Blunderbuss in sheer power.

In the Hollowed Woods area there are four boss opponents that you can face off against while the event is active.

Bobby Bone Hoarder - The first of the four bosses, Bobby is a Level 9 Undead Pirate boss found to the Far East in the graveyard area.
While Bobby does not drop any weaponry to write home about, he is the weakest of the four and the easiest for new players for kill for decent +REP.

Dry Rot - The second of the four, Dry Rot is a Level 31 Corrupted Stump boss found to the South East in his own little grotto, not far from Bobby Bone Hoarder.
Being the first mid-level boss found in the area, Dry Rot is the first of the four bosses to have their own weapon keepsakes, in the form of Devil's Claw!

The Watcher - The third boss of the bunch and the original Hollowed Woods baddie, The Watcher makes herself at home at the top of the hill in her own little hovel to the North East. The Watcher spawns as a Level 45 Mutineer Ghost with a distinction in that she does not have a body, and is in most cases just a floating pair of eyes. She is the second toughest of the event bosses, and with that trademark power behind her blade also comes three special weapons that are exclusive to her arsenal. Soul's Shadow, The Soulweaver, and Dark Whisper.

**NOTE: You are NOT required to complete the first Hollowed Woods quest in order to loot these weapons, you must be at least Level 25 Notoriety and with five weapon levels of the Legendary weapon in order to obtain it.

Captain Windshadow - The fourth and final boss, as well as being the newest addition to the Hollowed Woods is Captain Zephyr Windshadow, a Level 55 Jumbee that resides within the Hollowed Woods Town Hall, located smack-dab in the center of town. Zephyr is by far the most potent of the Hollowed Woods bosses, and requires a substantial group to take down without having any casualties. With his power comes a great bounty, and Windshadow will provide. With no small cost, he will drop the Breath of Hollowed Woods and The Storm Sphere.

In order to enter the Hollowed Woods Town Hall and loot Captain Windshadow for The Storm Sphere, you need to complete this quest first.

A couple of things to note, you need..:
- To have completed Haunting in the Hollowed Woods (first quest)
- Must be Level 40 or higher.

I've put together this quick guide on how to run through the Hollowed Woods quest, complete with enemy locations and individual steps!
If you are looking for a specific portion of the quest, I've put timestamps in the YouTube comment section.

Hollowed Woods is an awesome seasonal event here on the Legend of Pirates Online, and this, with the closely following Yuletide event make for a great fall and winter season to be online and participating with the community.

If you enjoyed this guide and/or it helped you out with the event, please consider dropping both YouTube videos and the thread poll a positive response to help others find the content as well.
