What purpose(s) will this machine be fulfilling?

If you're just going to use it for gaming, Haswell-E and DDR4 memory are really unnecessary. Stepping down to Z97 with DDR3 and something like an i5-4690k would be a better allocation of your funds. However, if you work with intensive productivity programs (CAD, video editing, etc.), then your current parts list would be appropriate.

To much specs for pc gaming in this current era. Don't go overboard or you will be filling yourself in a whole ton of payments!

I find your lack of SSD disturbing.

Just kidding, pretty sick build man. hope you enjoy it.

If I were you, I'd look into a motherboard that supports both ddr3 and ddr4 memory (not sure if that mobo does above or not), I bet it would cut down on your budget a bit so you can use DDR3 until DDR4 gets a bit cheaper. Also you said above you do a decent amount of video editing, just to let you know ahead of time, the intel 730 series SSD is a beast for video editing. It'll get you I think about 270 MBps write speed if your looking to spend a little extra. Also I saw that you didn't post a graphics card and was just wondering what your plans were for it. You should liquid cool a GTX 980 maybe since you already started liquid cooling, and it'll give you pretty good scrub times in premier (or whichever video editing software you use) go big or go home xD might as well :P

Just my thoughts

Cheers
