How come after a long amount of time my name has not changed from pirate to something else?

It may take a second, the moderation team has to manually approve names. It shouldn't take too long though, as long as it follows their rules it should be accepted.

Ohhh your name still is "Pirate" after all this time, I see. I'd recommend emailing [email protected] then.

Edit: I thought you just created your pirate that's why I said that, if it's been that long either something got glitched or maybe it was rejected? Not sure... if it was rejected usually you can try for a new name, though.
