A funny story I had was with my brother, I was plundering ships while waiting for him to get online. He got online and we plundered together, I told him to get on the port-side cannon so naturally he gets on the starboard-side one, by the time he was one the right cannon I sunk the ship. I was sailing back to port and he was jumping around and jumped on me and somehow got stuck on me. when we got to port I docked, but I did not dock my ship kept sailing into Tortuga into all the houses while my brother went into the secret land of gray everywhere. after like 5 min we both crashed.

My submission: The Skeleton Key, cast of wrought iron and polished, with an inlaid jewel. It was made hundreds of years ago by an expert smith for the first keeper of the code. No one except the keeper knows what it is for. Also, script on bottom of key says "Forever in Service". Hope you like!

:ahoy:Thank you to the crew who allowed us swashbucklers to sail the seven seas once more. Truly, it's awesome to be able to play the game I've loved since I was younger. For the contest, I've decided to submit art. So, I thought I would explain a bit about how I made my piece! :)

This drawing was created by first sketching it out. I drew the sword and skull key (complete with a serpent;D) in an X shape to emulate the classic skull and cross bones pirate flag. I then scanned the image with my printer and uploaded it to my computer. I photoshopped the image for clarity and to erase all of the lines from the original notebook paper that the image was drawn out on. Photoshopping out all the individual lines proved to be a difficult task- to put it in perspective, I think that finding the Lost Sword of El Patron would have been easier. :daggermouth:Nonetheless, this pirate prevailed!! I also added the words "Keepers of the Code" on there, of course- with as dope a guild name as that, I had to include it!

Despite the long process, I had a great time creating this artwork and I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you again for holding this contest. It would be my honor to receive a key!
Yours,
Anastasia;)

the best story I have of tlopo qualify as the funny kind of story ya'll are looking for but its the best one I got.

when I was 14 I was airlifted to Dallas children's hospital in TX, I had 1.2 litters of fluid around my heart and had to have immediate surgery. I spent 1 week there and during my recovery I got to go the game room for kids, in there I meet a really nice guy that was one of the hospital's councilors for the kids that had much worse stuff than I, when we where talking he said they had computers, so I asked to play tlopo and got him to play with me, it was really funny to me to explain how to play a game to someone only 8 years older than I was but we had a blast, we got to sail on my ship for hours and do quest, even got him his doll!, when the nurse came to get me back to bed he told me he was hooked on tlopo and wanted to play the next day and we did. though iv been sick 7 years after I was released from the hospital and stuck at home due to health issue's I still have very dear memory's of tlopo and love that ya'll have brought it back, again not sure if this counts but its what I got.

so far the funniest thing to happen to me in the game was me and some mate's of mine were in the high seas plundering loot from the navy and were minding our own when we see a massive ship sailing directly at us at incredible speeds and one of my buddys is screaming WHAT THE (cuss word) and is yellin at us to move or its going to crash into us , but when it gets to us it goes straight through and you could hear him fall out of his chair at "impact" , we were laughing for about 30 minutes straight.

When The Legend of Pirate Online was owned by Disney, I played with my family and we worked on our skills together. My eldest cousin was the leader so we followed him into a cave full of enemies, which we didn't know was full of enemies at the time. He said "Come on guys the target is in here!" Trusting him, all five of us ran in not expecting the amount of enemies that were there and two of us were killed right off the bat. One group member who chose to focus on healing was struggling to stay alive and keep the remaining members alive while also being chased around the cave. Eventually the healer died so two of our members were forced to choose what to do. We decided that one would help the healer while the other one would fight the army, right before the healer was finished being helped the person who was in charge of fighting died. Which caused the enemies to become angry at the remaining person who quickly fell from the enemies wrath. When the last one of us ended up in jail we looked at each other in the cells and had to take a ten minute break because we could not stop laughing.

Only just started playing this game again and lemme tell you fine gents. Best days of my life relived. Already have had some of the best interactions so far. Ok but let's get to the story. So it's my second time playing and I got my friend to join in with me. I remembered when I was younger one of my favorite thing to do was to sail. So I got aboard my mighty fine vessel, the light sloop, and my friend and I began sailing and sinking some CRAAAAZY ships like the Navy Ferret. This is when me and my friend encountered a ship with a nice little flag above it. Now I haven't played this game in about 5 years so I completely forgot what it meant. So together we took down this nice little EITC Barracuda then began to grapple on it. Soon I got the notification to board it and me being the very special man said "hey man, why not." Now before I get to the next part I just want you guys to know that me and my friend were only level 5 at the time. So we boarded the ship and to my delight I saw it, some mean, green level 25 Officers. Now I want you guys to just listen to this before you continue reading (

). So my friend and I are running for our dear lives because these guys are doing you know, lots of damage. Of course I'm the first to fall and this is when I just start cracking up. My friend was running around in circles and circles trying to avoid these guys, but because the game isn't fully polished yet, all I'm seeing is a bunch of EITC men teleporting around the ship while my friend running and screaming "GET THESE GUYS OFFA MEEEEEEEE." Eventually he falls and all these men are just standing above us still swinging their swords while we are dying (literally) with laughter. I gotta say, if it was anything that rebuilt my love for this game, it was the fact that all these little funny interactions could happen at any time. I just wanna thank all of you guys working on this game and say good luck for the future! Love you all.

oh dearest one can you believe my fate?
in the time in which I was a inexperienced
attempts to save with potion too late?
I tried to defeat the living dead
my sword swing swallowed through the air
missing swipes I couldn't hit the head
when many called me noob I knew
i tried to swipe some more and more
my frustration grew grew and grew
i flipped my keyboard down the room
it tipped my phone off the broom
it shattered into bits and bits
it bounced back and hit my mitts
glass and keys are all over my floor
my anger took over my body
my keyboard and phone were no more
it took me weeks to play again
my anger tempted me to thrash
but i came back to the campaign
my noobish ways led me to fail
it was too much for me to hold
but i played until i was frail
and forever held my peace

It’s a lovely Friday night, the prime time for an excursion sailing the vast ocean in my beautiful light galleon, The Scarlet Rogue, on Pirates online. I embark on my quest to sink multiple Navy Bulwarks for my low-level, beginner quests. As I depart from Tortuga and set sail for waters near Cuba, I’m fortunate to find a handful of navy sloops. Time for some quick plunder. I carry on past Port Royale, sinking two light sloops on the way, when I come across a larger Naval Warship, two EITC sloops, and one rare Navy Bulwark, positioned in a perfect straight line. I fire the port-side cannons towards the Bulwark. I can nearly taste the precious booty, level enhancement, and selfish personal gain. Three cannonballs strike the Bulwark… while one lone ball makes its way into the hull of the warship.

Like sharks to fresh meat, the four ships begin to encompass the Rogue, circling me and taunting me with their pre-programmed attack formation. I’m left with two choices: Full speed ahead towards Cuba, or stay and take on the brigade. But mama didn’t raise no coward. The Rogue’s cannons fire at random, adding more lead to the ocean floor than holes into my opponent’s ships. As I grow worrisome of the Rogue’s status, I make the brash decision to abandon the battle and head for Cuba. Breaking from the squabble, I make haste for my swampy salvation. Suddenly, the warship and a light sloop come about from both starboard and port sides and aim to block my route. My passageway narrows, I’m at my wits end. I fire my port-side cannons once more. Success! The EITC vessel meets it’s maker!

I drop anchor in Cuba and passionately kiss the first alligator I come across.

Didn't really end up being much of an "emblem" per-se, but I hope that it is still eligible.

Sorry it is a pdf, I couldn't find any other way to download.
